Description- A Radio Operator recieves and transmits communications through radio's
Interests- Interests that Radio operators should have hands on problem solving, there isnt alot of paper work and working with other people.
Tasks-
Monitor emergency frequencies to detect problems.
Communicate with operators to give them transmission instructions.
Broadcast weather and other warnings to Flights boats etc.
Maintain logs for communications.
Conduct periodic inspections and necassary test
Operate recording equiptment.

Degrees are needed bachelor's degree maybe be required and associate's degree
People in this field could also need one to two years training before they start working
Wages- New York wages and 19,220 dollars for beginning workers and 47,240 for experienced
Outlook- In 2006 there were about 1,548 radio operators in the United States. It is also estimated to decrease number of jobs in the future.
